Still a newbie here but should I expect more stable / lower temperatures after the AS5 has had time to cure?

Re-applied the thermal compound, knocked 20c off the temp while in bios. In HWMonitor while listening to windows media player and web browsing temps for cores 0,1,2 and 3 are 35~38c. Almost want do over the compound once more and put even less, but I'm not so sure I can hope for much better...

Was just looking at compatible memory for a Gigabyte motherboard I'm considering, and on the chart it has 2 columns under each brand of ram that say "Single Channel...V" or "Dual Channel V / 2pcs" I can get what the 2pcs mean but what about the "V"?
