it says unable to establish a connnection with the activation server. please check your network settings and confirm that you are able to connect to the internet, then try again.

My Win2K box is just weird..... All fixed now. Running seti 'old-school' style using the startup folder ;)

I would like to install Linux on my W2K box.
Can I just edit the boot.ini to make it be able to dualboot? The partition that linux will go on is definitely past the 1024 cylinder mark. Or do I just stick to the old boot disk method...

find the files on the cd using a windows PC.
Copy using windows explorer.
Copy the rescue.bin onto c:\
Copy the root.bin onto c:\
Copy rawrite.exe or rawrite2.exe (should be under the dosutils\ directory onto c:\
Make sure you get the ones under the directory of the distro you want to...
