hard drive stutters ruining online gaming help??

While RAM would help. This problem is caused from the Hard drive trying to use more of the IDE controller than it has rights to and interferring with the CD/DVD drives status check. Here's what you should do to optimize your system. Put your Primary HD on one IDE controller. And if it's a...

    Random BSOD's

You should try running memtest. Seriously, I buy ram all the time, and I'd say about 1/3rd of it has defects of some kind. http://www.memtest86.com

Win 2K Server Sharing & Permissions

It has to do with the whole IPC Share thingy. The easiest way around is of course to just create a user on the server with the same username/password as the one you're logging on to your desktop with.

    Random BSOD's

It sounds like a RAM issue here. Either the speed is too high on the RAM or it's got some errors. Make Memtest86 floppy, boot off it and let it run for an hour or so. http://www.memtest86.com

Oh, one more thing. Make sure you have the power plugged into the video card. That's one step that gets overlooked a lot with these newer video cards.

Can't boot 98SE after attempting to install Red Hat 5.1

Alrighty, once you get through the installation portion you need to run fdisk to make sure everythings tagged right. Type fdisk if it says you must specify a device try /dev/hda it's usually your first hard disk. Then do a 'p' (without quotes) and it should list your drives. You should see...

    Hardware Recomendation for Photoshop CS

One thing that hasn't been mentioned directly. Dual Memory controllers, it'll help big time. Also, make sure you get a fast hard drive. People usually go for size and get a slow one and complain when load times are too long. :P

Gaming Question w Lan Only Games / Over the Net

Yeah, just setup a vpn connection on each side, one to listen one to send. If you both have XP then it should be a piece of cake, you just need to make a user on the listening machine. If only have XP you should listen as setting up a VPN on other OS's takes a little bit more knowledge.
