I won't buy OCZ on principle. To many scams for too long, if they have indeed turned over a new leaf so to speak, good for them. I'll still opt to not buy from them for a while. Geil is pretty good stuff, very nice for the price. Overclocking is somewhat hit and miss, but typically decent.

I'd really have to need a new computer to justify upgrading to either A64 or Prescott this year. neither has an upgrade path, and both will require a new motherboard to boot. Do what you need to keep the current computer running decent, and wait till early next year to get Prescott on the LGA...

yes, i stand corrected. I should ammend that to i won't touch prescott till LGA775 comes out. i shouldn't post before noon.....

I'm not touching either till they get to 90nm. K8 doesn't look like it's going to scale well on 130nm. I don't even want to think about Prescott's power requirments on 130nm. Besides, i like to be able to alteast pretend i get an upgrade path when i spring for a new Motherboard and ram.

MS "should" release and update to the OGL core library in windows. They have chosen not to for the last several revions however (window still ships with OGL1.1, 2 guesses as to why), so all major gfx card manufactures have taken to bundeling OGL 1.3/1.4 with their drivers. I expect the same to...
