Thank you for the clarity. I too have transitioned to Asrock a few years ago and appreciate its straight forward UEFI approach especially since manual overclocking in my opinion is no longer a productive option. (At least for AM4/5)
I'm currently building a ITX system with the above motherboard and a 7700x. The board has two m.2 slots which supports two fourth gen ssds or one fifth gen and one fourth gen. The fifth Gen is on the front only with available fan and the second port is on the back side of the board. My question...
Hello all,
I'm currently working on an older computer (7 or 8 years old) and want to clone hdd to ssd via Acronis.
I'm concerned that windows 7 was installed on hhd without ahci activated in bios for which there was an option. Will i be able to turn on ahci in bios with cloned ssd?

I want to thank you all for your help. I resolved the issue this morning. Windows 10 64bit does not support my AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ processor. Once I figured this out windows 10 32bit installed without a hitch. Thanks again.
Ok....I installed vista but tool doesn't recognize it. Going to install my upgrade copy of win7 from my other pc. Maybe iso will install. Wish i would have know this was usb. I new I needed DVD for this computer.
Bios boot sequence set to DVD1st.....HD 2nd. No usb offered. I'm hoping it's due to the large iso size. Still just windows10 logo. The only other window option I have available is vista 64 bit. Not quite sure what to do here. It's an AMDdual Coe processor. Don't remember the stats but it had...
Thanks for the quick response. Trying to install on a new hd as well. Iso seems to be hanging. There's just a pict. Of Windows 10 logo but no hd led action. Hope it takes hold.
I recently went to best buy and purchased windows 10 home.

I have a Gateway mt6828 laptop 10 years old. Was working fine till I decided to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 and also upgrade hd to ssd. Got ssd at Bestbuy and waiting for W7 from Amazon. Thought Id install an old copy of Windows 8 in the meantime to see if it was legit. Key didn't work so no...
apologies....apparently there are many variables for each individual cpu. your claim is 1.13-1.14 volts for stable 4.1 OC. These are very modest voltages and your temps are low so i would lock the voltage in at 1.14 and call it a day. Manual no offset in bios.
i had problems with the update recognizing my ssd. read the install file and found that it only recognizes native sata inputs usually 0-4 on motherboard. switched from third party 6gb connector (5-6) to native sata connector and update took off. ghw
