    If the PC is connected directly to the DSL modem... I can connect to the internet. If the PC is connected directly to the router... i can connect to the router but NOT the internet. I have set the user name, password and PPPoE settings in the router and had no luck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Anyone recommend a good place to get an nVidia GForce 2, 3 or 4 for a good price???

    Just remember to stay away from the Geforce "MX" line of cards if your want any real performance out of it ;)

    smp - I remember those MSI kt133 boards... heck I bought one to use as a file server and it died in less than 7 months. My Lite-On 12x still works... but I doubt that I use it as much as some of you guys do. Just my 2 cents... :D

    I agree... not the best idea... but it can be done. What OS? If it's Win9x this might help... With the new drive installed as a master on the secondary channel, already fdisked, formated, etc, boot into Windoze, open the command promt and type... xcopy c:\*.* d:\ /s/e/h/c/y/r shut down...

    Belt sander? Seriously... use some lighter fluid to soften and remove the thermal adhesive... then finish it off will some rubbing alcohol. :cool:
