I've got a TX-SR500 which is this model's predecessor. Main differences are no component video switching and 5.1 instead of 6.1.
I'm very happy with it - especially considering I paid like $90 for it (used)
If I didn't have the SR500 I would prob grab this.
Btw the 500 at least has a single set...
1000B-CX (Copper Gigabit) and 1000B-SX (One fiber Gigabit) both have the same max speed - 1000mbits/second. Technically, fiber is even a tad slower due to the time it takes to convert to/from light, but that's splitting hairs.
I personally have gotten up to 630 mbits/second on my copper gigabit...
Are you sure you're not thinking of the 2-$100 rebates for the Dell Dimension 2650 that was like $250 after rebates? I received those a few days ago, but still haven't received the rebate from the WD 200GB Hard Drive.

It's not really worth the effort of this (well, if you're in Vermont it is), but:

Anyone else from RIT?
Yeah to Nick Tahoe's, the only place you can get a heart attack served to you on a plate! Tahoe's is interested around 3 in the morning, everyone in there is either drunk or gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) or maybe both :-)
That's just due to the changing of the earth's magnetic field in relation to the TV. It actually has no perminate effect on the TV. In fact, all you reallky need to do is use a degaussing coil to de-magnatize the TV when it is upside down and it should be fine.
Standard Direct view (non-projection) TV's don't care which side is up-with the possible exception of heat buildup, so having a fan might be useful. Projection TV's should never be lied down or turned over, but I would like to see someone try and turn one over.
The problem with a computer...
If this memory runs at PC3700, as advertised, they are doing NOTHING wrong. Samsung is selling the chips as PC3200 and only testing them to that speed. OCZ (claims to) have a procedure that allows this chips to run at PC3700. If they do indeed run at that speed, there is nothing wrong with...
