This is the "suite" version, meaning it can burn CD's and DVD's but it doesn't have the capabilities of the ultra edition. With the ultra edition you can do such things as encode MP4's.

If its like my 9500 pro, there is 1 DVI and 1 VGA...so the answer is yes :-)

You'd be better off just getting a Zire.

I just got mine in yesterday, October 2003 model. 1 pixel stuck red, about 1/2 inch diagonally from the upper left hand corner. The pixel is no big deal BUT... it also has the white light in the upper right. I'm definitely thinking about asking for a replacement, but I'm gonna wait a few days...

I would suggest something that is DVI (just about everything...) and something that can do DirectX9. That being said, the ATI's come bundled with Half Life 2, which may save you $50 down the road.

Ugh. Now I have to think of stuff to buy my girlfriend so she doesn't think I'm spending all my money on myself.

I just snagged the Lite-on 16x DVD-ROM for $27 w/ free ship. Should do well for ripping purposes. Link
