yeah there were rumors about CC not PM'ing to Staples since it depends on if Staples has it in stock + anything over $50 PM is subject to manager's approval
luckily in my case they didn't seem to care to call or ask manager. funny thing is the total rang up as $13.xx when i thought it was...
i hope i didn't come across like i was complaining, i was just confirming to others what PS comes with the DELL XPS 420 since some were worried that it would come with a 375W but even that IMO is just fine for 8800GT
Not going to debate whether this is hot or not but rather state that for those who are interested, Dell was just recently offering the same spec XPS 420 as listed by OP with 3GB DDR2-800 instead of DDR2-667, Blu-ray ROM DVD-RW, and a 8800GT 512 gfx card for just under $1000 shipped/taxed.

yup no choice but to take the terrible cs and cancel.. later went to resellerratings and found out that they have a long history of this "bait and switch" stuff
good luck guys i just got off a 30minute conversation w/ lenovo (btw transfered 4x within that call) and no go. first said os was not being offered anymore by microsoft, then the whole laptop was not being offered. only compensation was 10% off coupon... go f yourself lenovo
im not too sure...as far as the apps/games out today, hardly anything takes advantage of 4 cores. so realistically, you'll see an improvement going from 2.4GHz -> 3.0GHz in MOST cases.
Now how much of an improvement, is another issue whether it be 1fps or 20fps in games or 30seconds of...
