Well, I just installed Win2K (SP1) without updading to Directx 8.1 and everyhting seem to be runing fine. All Media and 2D/3D files are running without any problems. I'm pretty sure the problem is with the latest Directx included with Windows XP. I'm going to see if I can find a beta version of...
