    Newegg HDD Sale

one of the drives I received from Newegg was DOA. I cannot attribute it to packaging for sure but the packaging was not adequate and it made a good deal into a crap deal. I like Newegg but I avoid harddrive purchases on their site since most of the time ZZF or Dell has same or better deals...

    8800 gts $382 OTD at dell.com, 8800gtx $534

The coupons are stackable. Buy the 10% off Electronics and Accessories coupon on Ebay then you have to go to the "Small Business" store and you can stack the coupon you just purchased from Ebay. AFTER TAX it was around $400. Nice deal. Oh and yeah the coupon on Ebay cost me like $4.

(dead) - Maxtor 300GB 16Mb SATA Retail Box $79.99 shipped

And just to add I do not trust any harddrives. If you have all your pictures and your music or whatever is very important to you then back it up on DVD or setup raid 1 no matter what brand harddrive you have. Better safe than sorry. Losing pictures you have as memories to your good times in life...

I have 4 of these 300gb SATA Maxtors in Raid 0+1 and they are GREAT They are FAST and COOL and QUIET. Should I mention my two 80GB Ultra ATA 133 Maxtors running in Raid 0 for over 6 YEARS! with not so much as a hiccup. Has a Seagate SATA drive and it was very warm to the touch and VERY...

    500GB SATA II 16MB $179, ships free

I would not bet on that. I had a Seagate 160gb SATA drive. It was hot and loud as hell. I really mean when I say HOT and I really mean when I say loud. I have seen many posts about the new Seagate drive with 300gb+ SATAI or II running very hot. My 4 Maxtor 300gb SATA w/ 16mb cache are...

any reason to NOT buy this PSU?

Well I just got this powersupply and it is terribly loud. I will return it. The fan makes simply too much noise and drowns my other 4 case fans out. My PC is almost silent and this powersupply just ruins it. Will probably go with a Seasonic.

Problems with my system and it might be the Asus P5ND2-SLI

Then it must be either my motherboard or the graphics card. I have to admit I have not had any lock ups since I am not installing Ati tool and overclocking the card. But my GPU should be able to do higher clocks than it is now and it did. I kind of think it is the AtiTool fan control settings. I...

Problems with my system and it might be the Asus P5ND2-SLI

The OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI is terrible. The power itself is ok. But besides it being just okay the fan is absolutely terrible. It makes a rattling sound. When the Air Conditioning is not on in the room you can hear it over everything. I guess I might have to pay more for a seasonic.

Problems with my system and it might be the Asus P5ND2-SLI

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I was quick to get the OCZ 700 watt PSU. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817341002 I will go start testing right now. The reviews on Newegg for this PSU are 100% 5 eggs so I feel a bit safe with that but of couse we will see...

Problems with my system and it might be the Asus P5ND2-SLI

Are there any tests or tools with which I can check if and how much my powersupply voltages fluctuate

Problems with my system and it might be the Asus P5ND2-SLI

Yes I have run it default with no overclocking but not for that long. Also my pc is running fine right now. But I think that is because I am not overclocking the X850XT which is a PCI-E and not AGP. The current vcore voltage is set to 1.475v. Thing is that I have notice spikes in power...
