That's BS! People are going to pirate games regardless of the copy protection used. A few of my friends were playing the game *hassle-free* days before I got it because they downloaded it. I spend my hard earned money, only to run into copy protection issues that made me mad enough to sign up...

I would like to second all the people defending the original poster. I bought the game earlier tonight, installed, and ran into the same problem. The copy protection scheme actually *searched* for an *installation* of clonecd and refused to run when it found it. My version is so old...
