Thanks for the suggestion - I reloaded the driver and it worked !!! Thr hatd drive seems to be on it's way out though, it bleeps contiuously when I switch on, but after a couple of attempts it fires up. Thanks once again for all your help.

Because it has onboard graphics built in...all you can see is a large gold chip with 3DVision on the top !

Hi, I usually have my machine set to 256 colors and 600x800. Turned the machine on, to find 16 colors and no way of changing back,because the drop down menu now only shows 16 colors. The K6-2-400 fan on top seems to have been seized up with gunge, and I figure that it might have overheated and...

I usually operate @600x800 with 256 colors... But switched on yedterday.....16 colors and when I try and change there is only 16 colors option in the drop down menu. I don't have a video card. Any Ideas please. Thanks:frown:
