I think you need to test and clean your detector, that's may be the reason why it offen goes off.
Then check if it is ten years, replace date and so on. replace a new one, hope it works.
want to know if the Interconnect function necessary?

Since they are wired smoke detectors, then the main power is 120 AV, so there not must need the 10 years sealed battery. The battery function mainly for the AC power cut down, for emergency only, so I think one year 9V battery is enough. hope it helpful.
