You are correct! I had to remove the motherboard (what a pain) but I found one push pin not seated through the hole in the motherboard. Problem fixed and the temperature is looking good now.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the advice. The Freeze 7 must not be seated correctly.
I will remove the Motherboard and try to get the heatsink totally seated. If that doesn't work then I will remove the Freezer 7 clean the HS and CPU and apply Arctic Silver 5.
I just purchased a Freezer 7 Pro and replaced the stock cooler. I running a Intel 2160 @ 2.8 on a GA-P35-DS3L. I installed F7P per the instructions included and cleaned the old paste off well.
My problem is the Freezer 7 is running 10-15 degrees hotter than the stock cooler running Orthos...
I might have found my problem--- a read somewhere today to make sure that the power supply connecter cable was only attached to the 6600 GT. So I rearrange the power cables and it has not locked up YET.
I just installed this new AGP XFX 6600 GT and can't play COD without locking up. I have tried different drivers 66.XX and 71.XX but to no avail. The last thing I tried was reformaing the hard drive and reinstalled WinXP but that didn't fix the problem. Any ideas????
Thanks for the help
The superhidden file trick didn't show the hidden folders.
I was able to erase the folder going into CMD
Without Diskpie I wouldn't be able to find that folder.
Thanks, I will try revealing super hidden files when I get home tonight. I hope it reveals hidden folders also.
When I use Diskpie software it shows a folder(DV1.2.3[1]) that is within the Temp internet folder that is 2.2GB but I can't get to(or see it) it using explorer. I need to delete...
My temp internet folder is 2.2GB but right now I only see 2 cookies that are 1kb each. I cleared the files and cookies and change folder options to view all hidden files and system files but still can see why it is 2.2GB. Ideas please?
HI
My Epox KT400 motherboard is dead so I ordered a new Abit NF2 MB. Can anyone help me run the file and transfer wizard on the old hard drive so I can put it on the new drive(clean install). I'm running WinXP Pro OS.
Thanks
