Stupid question?

I find the tailored 3d cards to be way too overpriced. Just basically looking for something that would perform at the same level that my current card does, but at a higher resolution. Would either of these cards be anywhere nearly enough...

Thanks. My card already has some problems pushing some of my meshes in 3ds max at a lower resolution, so I think that I might have to upgrade if I want to work at higher resolutions. Have you noticed any input lag with the Dell? Do you know which model you have specifically?
