I agree with most of these people, too. I have the Plextor 708a (I think that was it) and it's great. But not Double/dual layer... So I bought the NEC 3500a for about $60 at newegg... and it's even cheaper now!! So those TWO for sure... everyone raves about the NEC... but Plextor is...

My question may or may not go here, but some of the people seem to be in the "know" I want to connect the FIREWIRE out from the Audigy, and INTO the Firewire on my receiver (which I want to purchase - Elite 56TXi) First of all - will I be able to do that? 2nd: how do I tell the Audigy...
