I could not find a single setting relating to the USB in the bios and I checked every page (multiple times). I've read around the WinXP with SP1 sometimes flips out with USB 2.0 drivers.
None of the ports work. The mobo has 6 on the rear and 2 on the front panel. None do anything with any devices.
I built a PC for my friend recently. The motherboard is an Asus P4S800, which includes 6 USB ports on the mobo and 2 on the front panel connector.
I installed the USB 2.0 drivers on WinXP with service pack 1. In the device manager it lists 3 USB Root hubs as well as 3 other entries for the SIS...
Your mobo would powerup but not actually run? I would think the 350watt would've been ok, esp since no devices were hooked up other then the essentials. I can try a different PSU though and see what happens.
I checked the seating several times. The mobo has a lock that clicks in to make sure the AGP card is totally seated, and I know I had the same problem on my pc.
I checked the seating on everything including the ram and CPU.
Shouldn't the CPU throw some error beeps? I tried 2 seperate pc...
