Not saying this will work but try this:) Go into the control panel and add sidewinder autodetect (I think thats what its called) and it should find and run your controller. The cd that came with my force feedback pro sidewinder joystick wouldnt install but adding the autodect sidewinder thing...

Well hopefully his site will be up and stable now:) He now has his own private server with unlimited resources. The new pages he's designing for it are awesome. I got the last of the tuning done on the server and in a few days internic will have his domain name pointing to it.

Works like a charm. Printed out several pages without a hitch. The win2k drivers are even nicer than the ones for win98. Alot of new features.

From what Ive seen the network cards work ok, the modem risers are a little flaky and have a very short lifespan. This is based on around 75 of them I made the mistake of taking on a deal from our suplier. Wont be ordering anymore. Machines worked ok other than the modem risers croaking...

Cable can achieve faster downloads IF the file you want is in the cache of the cable provider. All cable providers use a caching server.

Just downloaded netscape 6 to test the speed of netscape.com 70.4k a sec max. Went and pull a online movie feed 320ksec spike to max so they are even faster than netscape. hmmmmmmm

Reality check for the OC-whatever people. Typical downloads 26400-28.8 = 2.5 to 3.5k sec 56k modem connection = 6k MAX sec t1 = normally 120ksec max somtimes with video feeds 300ksec max t3 = normally 120ksec max somtimes with video feeds 300ksec max oc-whatever = normally 120ksec max somtimes...

Its kinda pricey but its all I use Shuttle Hot-649a. My fastest setup so far is dual 800 p3's with 133mhz fsb. 1/4 agp works flawless.

From my experience since irq 9 is a cascaded irq and not a normal one I always recommend setting irq 9 as a legacy non pnp one in the bios.
