buy ocz's performance series from newegg, just got my, works perfectly. only slightly more expensive than corsair value rem.

the hypertransport link of ur cpu is 1600mhz for sure, but it really depends on ur mobo. so far the fastest ht link is 1000mhz.

dude, 40C isnt hot enough to burn everything in the case, my case temp is 36C, cpu is 55C when it's loaded under a stock hs and fans with 3 case fans, forget to say, my cpu is athlon2500+. i suspect the 1.85vc is the main problem, and the cpu may have been burned off already.

my cpu is at 45C(idle) and 57C(load) temp now, i expect 10 more degrees increased if i oc it to 3200+. that's why i want a new cooling system. thanks for u link of ram anyway.
