That last one pic that looks like scratches if you look at the edge of it looks like that's just that plastic film that you are suppose to remove. Rest does look weird...HOWEVER...after looking at it again and drinking another beer I'm going to say this...last pic remove the plastic film on the...
Prices do look high to me also. Now I wish I would of kept the refurb x570 motherboard from MSI in stead of selling it. Its amazing how much prices has gone up as I sold the refurb board for $60 dollars more than I paid for the original one I bought new. Was going to build me a newer system as I...
Well here is my last update....MSI is sending me a replacement under warranty which either I will keep for a future build or just sell. The MSI X570-A Pro I purchased to avoid downtime waiting on MSI has been working flawless with the same hardware/devices so it defiantly was the mobo.
I used not to like MSI but the last 5 systems I built all used MSI boards and this is the only one that gave me fits. I miss the days Abit and Epox...minus the bad cap spell!
Yes saw that, and that's what you got also. It was hard trying to find a place that has it in stock strange is that while Newgg said certain 3rd party sellers had it in stock I went to thier website and it showed not in stock, I need a good price and fast delivery like before end of this week...
Well, finally got the sata spinner drive installed and on the first 2 boots it froze on the same screen so went ahead and removed it and reinstalled the nvme as it looks like its the motherboard. either going to let it be or see if MSI will cross ship a replacement as cannot be without the pc.
Finally got wife to agree to let me image the nvme drive and install a sata drive first and see then going to get my nvme drive and swap it with hers. Figured then we should know 100% if its the mobo or the nvme.
If its the mobo unless it gets worse just going to let it be as its not that bad.
Well frozed again got 2 last things to try, swapping hers and my nvme drive same brand but different controllers if still happens will do as you mentioned and just remove the nvme drive and let her go with a sata drive.
update...well day 2 no issues so far but I'm not claiming success yet! I removed the 2 spinner hard drives and replaced them with one spare drive I have. If it happens again will be time for me to swap out our nvme drives even though they are the same brand they use different controllers.
Not yet as thats her OS drive that will be my last one I try. Got to get one drive of my off my pc and image hers over to that hard drive. Also thought about swapping my nvme with hers as my mb is also a MSI brand but not a 570 though.
Update... so far underclocking memory, usb external drive unplugged, one stick of memory and one of the spinner drives disconnected did not help. Got the other spinner drive unhooked now to see what happens.
