Hi! I just had a look at the prices of AMD64 prices (in 1000 quantities). I noticed that the Model 148 is the same price as the 3400+ at $417. Both chips run at 2.2Ghz and 1MB of level 2 cache, i know that the opteron uses dual channel buffered memory and the 3400+ uses single channel...
