I know about the windows DMA props and stuff. But I wanna know how to physically connect my cdrom so that it's running in UDMA33. cause I know it can run at at least that. It's running as my secondary master on a udma33/66 cable, but it my windows util it says the cdrom is in "DMA" mode.

How Do I go about getting it to run on UDMA Mode 1 then?

Hi, I'm just curious about this. I Have an LG(IBM) 40x IDE CDrom. My Asus Ide Util says my cdrom is running in DMA mode. I'm assuming it means DMA Mode 1. But don't cdroms run at udma66? If so, how can I enable this?

If I sold my A7A, I think I could get $220 Canadian. Money really isn't an object, what board should I replace it with in your opinion. I want a fast, reliable, and stable board.

The 8K7A has the new AMD chipset. That's the good stuff you want to go with. The other one has the VIA which isn't as good as the AMD 761.
