So there is a new software update on the Magellan website for the 3225. Anybody try it? Does it screw up the map file?

And apparently the 6 million POI is wrong. I noticed the customer review for the product on Radio Shack.com:

Interesting. Looks like Radio Shack is now selling a 3225. The description says it includes 6 million POI's.

It's not as loud as other units out there for sure. But I find it sufficient for my needs. I don't even have the speaker volume up all the way at all times. If you have a louder car and have your radio turned up it might be difficult at times to hear it. But then you can always just use the...
Anybody know what the difference is between firmware 1.26 and 1.36? How do we upgrade the firmware on the 3225? There doesn't seem to be any reference at all to 3225's on Magellan's web site.
The 3225 with TimeKeepers new found way to load 6 million POI's. This is now an incredible value. It was $179 in November... no $199 but still a great value for a great machine. Looks great too.
Thanks for this thread. Good stuff. I unrared the two files but my combined file size is 188 MB (197,945,228) bytes after doing a right click on the file and properties. Is this the right size? I see in the first post the file is 200 MB
