The full folly of his actions weren't fully recognized until his second term but by the 4th year of his presidency the 9/11 swoon was definitely gone and it looked many like normal R/D divide. His net approval rating was in low single digits and went negative for a while during that 4th year...
Bernie is dominating the youth vote but he is not getting them to turn out and he would need them to turn out in November to beat Trump. Had Bernie won the nomination by getting those people out to vote I would have felt much better about his chances in November but there just hasn't been any...
Anyone who thinks beating Trump is a given is completely misinformed and out of the loop. Beating an incumbent president is always very difficult and near impossible when the economy is good. He is still very popular among Republicans, has an electoral advantage and his campaign has a lot of...
This is probably a conversation for a different thread but what makes you think Bernie has a better shot against Trump based on what we've seen in the primaries so far? Bernie's strategy has been about getting big turnout in the youth vote and that hasn't happened in the primaries. In 2018 we...
I don't disagree that his rate of making idiotic statements is probably higher than it was 10+ years ago but that is very different than the people running around implying that he has dementia. I would definitely prefer that we don't have a president over the age of 70 for multiple reasons but...
The problem is that you can't just point to Joe Biden making idiotic statements as "demonstrable proof" because he has been making idiotic statements and sounding like an idiot for years. It is a known fact about him and was even a known fact about him when he was picked as Obama's VP.
I'm not...
My wife and I were there a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. We stayed in a nice hotel right by the park by Reforma. We essentially just went to the museums, which were great, ate awesome food and enjoyed the warm weather.
Level 2 really isn't that bad. Half of Europe is basically...
You can tip but it's definitely not mandatory. If I had to guess I would say the majority of people don't tip. If you felt like the driver did a good job then feel free to tip if you'd like but it's not like a restaurant where it is completely mandatory.
I don't know how to help you with the Windows phone part but I've used Uber 100s of times and have never ordered one in advance. Most airports now even have signs for "App pickup" locations that you can just follow to make sure you walk to the right spot. Worst case scenario here you just grab a...
You do not need to set up an uber pickup 2 1/2 weeks in advance. There are tons of them near major airports and it will just be easier to request a pickup when you land.
It's an amazing movie and people shouldn't be scared off from subtitles to actually see it. The point is that they gave the award for best movie to the best movie, this year it just happens to be a Korean movie.
Given this and my backlog of games I'm probably just going to wait and buy the "Ultimate Combined Edition" that features all of the episodes when they are done. I'm assuming they'll have some additional extras that they are going to add and bug fixes to add in. Hopefully it'll be a big PC...
We grew some thai birds eye peppers in our garden this year for the first time. They were insanely easy to grow and had a really nice yield. I used it as an excuse to learn about cooking more thai food and it was a lot of fun. Still have pepper/fish sauce mixture in my fridge that is an awesome...
