even though reading this thread has given me a little more piece of mind with my temps, ive seen others idling waaay lower. specs: -msi p6n sli -q6600 b3 - stock everything (no overclocking) -arctic cooler pro 7 -arctic silver 5 -coolermaster elite 331 case - 120mm yate loon intake...

not a vista hater per say...i do like some of the enhancements but not enough to warrant the 600mb of memory usage from a fresh boot vs xp's fresh boot of about 90mb of memory...

nope and no. just did a complete format and installed XP Pro 32bit...seems to have fixed the problem. completely. gah i hate vista

someone...anyone? please. ive gone and reinstalled vista with no changes, im currently in the process of installing XP pro now. afterwards im going to start swapping component to see whats wrong with this. even considering buying a very expensive power supply just so i can get that 8pin cpu...
