Walked into Microcenter and bought one last night. Got the card and a new power supply installed late last night. Everything is working fine, but haven't had time to play with it much yet. Put the rebate form in the mail this morning.

Who here would rather buy at a local brick and mortar store as opposed to buying via the web? I needed to buy a new video card and power supply, but wanted to pay cash since I'm trying to get rid of my credit cards. Lucky for me, both Monarch Computer and Microcenter have stores near me...

locally, one store has both of these cards advertised. 6800GS at $225 and the 6600GT at $150. Which is a better card? Any why? I'm hoping to pull the trigger in the next couple of days....
