If you can run a low level format and play with the ECC settings of the flash memory, you should be able to increase the performance. But as with anything there may be trade-offs such as shortened lifespan and lower capacity.

I dont have experience with OCZ RMA's but from other companies...all I can say is be prepared to wait, and make sure you package the SSD well/properly when shipping out.

There are a lot of counterfeit batteries out there, so yea buying from a reputable source for batteries is quite important!

I believe i3 should be good enough for ya, Im using a way older school CPU for HD video editing and am ok. So i3 for Photoshop should definitely be ok.

I have also used a wireless Microsoft desktop keyboard+mouse combo for over 4 years and its still going strong. Forget which model but it's still at my mom's house and my parents are putting it to good use!
