I have that ram: ocz ram linky
12x stock works, I started all over again, this time with 12x. I got it to 2.71 running stable. I wasn't sure at first if I could use 12x since in your bios pictures above you had 10x setting... being new at OCing and all :o
I'm running at 12x216 right now...
hey n7,
thanks for your guide, I'm following it as we speak. I seem to be stuck at 2.66 with an AMD64 4000+.
specs:
a8r-mvp
amd64 4000+
settings:
htt multiplier: 3x (600)
265 fsb
166mhz memory (running at 220.7, thanks to cpu-z)
1.65 memory volt

cpu limited may seem logical.. I have a amd64 4000+ clocked at default 2.4, so I'm not really sure.
Scores with 3dmark06: (Again, nothing is OCed)
single xtx: 4600
CF : 5200
quake4 benchs (single and CF) seem normal too, given some reviews I have seen. I probably expected too...
I did get great results with my GeForce 7800 GTX 256 SLI rig in 3dmark05.. here, scores:

x1900xtx single : ~10500
x1900xtx+CF : ~11500
It's kind of disturbing.
Now, I only tested...
