Im usually in Admin mode but i was at a LAN and someone there told me its not smart to always be logged in as Admin while online for security reasons and to set up a power user account, so i did that and now my ICQ wont work or add any users.. Is there anyways to get ICQ working in PowerUser?

I got the text to appear.. wow linux is alot different then any windows, i think ill keep in on dualboot and mess around with it every once and a while, i do have some questions though. I downloaded Licq and i dont know how to makefiles.. haha edit: Mandrake 8.0 No i dont know what version X...

Oh my god this looks so ugly, i chose gnome and it boots up but then i cant read ANY text and ALL the windows are transparent, im half tempted to uninstall, take my harddisk out and burn it.(excess fireworks are fun) If anyone knows what is going on or how i can fix it, input is nice. thanks

I have folders shared over my network but when i try to look at them off my win98se computer it prompts for a password even though i didnt set one and i have no idea what the password could be... it's not the login pass because ive already tried that, anyone know how to change it or anything?
