    I ran into similar problems with my first build with this CPU. I found my fan/heatsink was not making contact with the CPU. Pull the fan and CPU and redo everything.

    Get rid of all nonessential disks, PCI cards, etc. Start with a very basic, barebones system and add back the other stuff after you have the system up and running. Flash the latest BIOS! Good Luck!

    It's saying that because you have no Device attached to the Promise Controller. Everything is OK but if you disable the Promise Controller in the BIOS, the message will go away.
