umm..a 3000+ will not go that high on air. MSI neo2 plat is the way to go. I have one myself and i defenetly recommend it. I have a 3500+ but i havnt overclocked it yet, im probably gonna wait some time before i overclock.

You can get some crucial ballistix 2x515 for $260 from the crucial website(which is the cheapest). They also seem to overclock well.

yea i will probably be doing some overclocking, but not very much. I plan to overclock cpu to about 2.4-2.5. Im kinda leaning to the ballistix, because i have a few friends that got them and recommend them. As for hit or miss...i guess they all hit :) I want quality ram though..in case i wanna...
