The people that are getting it "in a few tries".... are you clicking submit a few times, or going through the whole payment process over and over again?
Bah, OM didn't accept the $20 off $50 OD coupon last week (so I got the Lite-On for $20.....) and now, they're not taking it for the printer. Oddly, this was all at the Bascom store in San Jose...
Anywho, any clues on how to find that $15 off $50 coupon? A quick google search only yielded the...
Well, you could do what I did.....
I went to Fry's on Monday and picked up the XP 1800+ (boxed) and a ECS K7S5A mobo for $129...
Also, check pricewatch.com daily!
NICE!
Just went [back] to Fry's and picked up the 1800+ combo [again] and asked to buy it. The mananger of the department said it was $159 and he had no idea where I pulled the $129 "configuration" from. Then, one of the lowly sales reps came up and corrected him and cheerfully gave it to me...
?!
Damn, I *just* got back from Fry's. The XP1800 was $159... You're saying it rings up as $129? If someone else can confirm this I'll be headed back out the door.....
Woah, looks like a sweet deal on that XP1500... I had my eyes on the XP1600, but at that price...
I don't know much about motherboards. Is the K7S5A decent?
Daaaaaamn, $75? I don't blame you either. That in itself is a reason for you to support +RW. Hell, if I had the chance, I'd probably be doing BOTH right now....
First off, I agree entirely with Shippy.
Secondly, I faced that debate between -/+ myself. I eventually opted for the "-" (A03... then the A04 from tax refunds :-D). I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. (The PS2 compatibility was a perk, I already have all my 80+ games backuped already....)...
<< I'm not surprised with the price drop of DVD-R since it is not compatible with most DVD player or DVD-ROM drive, while the new DVD+RW is. >>
LOL, wow, nothing beats a long day of work than coming home and finding this little gem. Thanks McDull, havn't laughed this hard in a long while. :-D...
I've called once or twice a day for the last week. Every single CSR has told me that I can't pricematch to anything online... so that leaves me wondering how you guys are doing it...?
I talked to 5 CSRs in the last 2 days. Every single one has told me that they do not accept internet prices for pircematching, although every single one said "I don't know" when I asked if it was a brand new policy.
