Just from my experience - Geforce Cards and VIA chipset don't mix... If you have a VIA chipset, get a Radeon. I have a VIVO 64 Meg and it is great.

AMB, I get the crackling all the time and it is very loud. I used to have an Asus A7V with the same SBLive (which uses the same Via chipset), and there were no crackles... So I know it isn't the cable. It must be something specific to this board, but I can't quite figure it out. Bob
