The bios reports and the speedfan data is reporting temps that are really high on my K8T Neo2 FIR (939)...i am quite confident that the heatsink and fan are properly installed. Is anyone else having similar problems?

The case temps are around mid 40s....the heatsink is definitely warm to the touch but not overwelmingly so but at least that is a good sign. Rebooting or a cold start does not seem to make a big difference...both seem pretty high. The fact that it will automatically shut down is a nice thing...

Just put together a new system and i am getting idle temps around 56C on my FX-53... I am using a Swiftech 6400V heatsink with a 80mm vantec stealth at the moment. Is this a decent temp to be running idle without overclocking? If it is too high...better fan? did i apply my AS5 wrong?...anyone?

I have the MSI K8T neo2-fir board and i hear that people do not completely trust if the AGP/PCI locks work at all or dont work all the time. Is there a good way to check if my board has a working lock on it? If i dont have a working lock does that just mean i should not overclock and...

So the board might be just fine...people prolly just want to give it a little time to see if there are any kinks that need to be worked out?
