After installing new Radeon X800XL computer won't wake up from STANDBY mode

Just curious... how are you waking it out of standy?

    My Antec P180 Wiring Job

Is the right angle necessary to fit with it being so close to the wall there? I just bought the case at a local CompUSA but haven't moved all the stuff from the Tsunami Dream into it yet. My concern is I've got 3 hard drives that'll need to be mounted and all are SATA. It looks like...

How often do your optical drives die?

I've found that most of the time an optical drive isn't really dead. Dust collects over the lens, causing most of the problem. Usually a can of compressed air sprayed inside, or one of those CD lens cleaner discs usually bring it back to life.

    Thermaltake Tsunami Case

I've got the Tsunami case and like it. However, it's airflow leaves a bit to be desired. I've got a LGA775 3.4 (non-OC) Prescott that was reaching 65 or so with stock cooling in the Tsunami case. I replaced the stock cooler with a XP-90, which dropped load temps to around 55-60. That still...

    Viewsonic VX910 16ms or 25ms?

I've got a Viewsonic VX910 I purchased sometime around the end of last year or early this year. I bought it at Best Buy after researching it quite a bit. At the time all the reviews, and even Viewsonic showed it as a 16ms response time. It was about the same price as 19" 25ms panels at the...

    Problems With ThermalTake TSUNAMI?

I also have the Tsunami Dream case and have no complaints. Compared to my CoolerMaster case with 5 80mm fans, it's MUCH quieter. Of course I'd assume that since there's only 2 120mm fans and an 80mm side fan on the thermaltake. Paired up with an Antec NeoPower, it's working really well...

    hardcano 12

Be aware that the hardcano 13 is out, which stores your settings when you power off (the hardcano 12 does not). The 13 is also a memory card reader, in addition to being able to change the backlight from like 1 of 8 colors (to match your color scheme).

    LGA775 and water cooling

The Intel spec for the LGA775 processor says it requires a side case fan, or ducted fan pointed at the CPU area. Hopefully in a water-cooling situation, with a rear exhaust fan, this will be enough to keep the MOSFETs cool.

    LGA775 and water cooling

I've been doing a lot of reading because I want to get a water-cooling setup for my LGA775 P4 Prescott CPU. However, one thing I came across has me worried. Apparently Intel's design specs for their stock HSF says in addition to cooling the CPU, the fan is also there to cool nearby voltage...

I Bought Intel Friends Tell me AMD better...

I like my prescott. At the same time I'm computing, I'm also heating the room I'm in. Saves me from turning on the heat and using up all that natural gas! It's like 2 for 1! :)

    P4 Overheating

I've got a LGA775 P4 @ 3.4 mounted on an ASUS P5AD2 Premium mobo in a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case. I'm not overclocking, and the processor is typically 47C at idle and 62C under full load. This is using the stock Fansink. Room temps have typically been in the 70s F.

    Availability 6600gt??

I had e-mailed NVidia asking this very question, and they said the 6800 series of PCI Express cards should be available in early October.

    PCI-Express prices?

Just curious if anyone has seen or heard of any price drops coming for any of the high-end graphics cards (like the X800XT) using the PCI-Express interface. I see a good number of companies haven't even entered the market with PCI-E, which leaves only a few with the market to themselves. I...

Didn't see that chart! That's exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
