since my last post, i have reloaded my machine about a million times. Finally got it all figured out. Time Machine, superduper, etc. working great. Reset and shutdown are flaky, but who cares. all updates are on it, MS Office just for kicks...happy as a clam in sand.

@roastin nugs: post your sig so that others can see what you have. could be that you have incompatible hardware. too hard to tell without knowing what you have. BUT DON'T GIVE UP!!

@kaido: loaded my unit with a retail copy of leopard using Karaakeha1 and LTL's instructions.

@Tyranicus: I see that you are using a Kalyway distro. That may be the issue. I am running a retail copy of Leopard. Is anyone running a retail copy of Leopard?
