Should I immediately plug in a molex cable? I haven't had instability issues, even with an overclock.

UPDATE: new score is 4284 opteron 170 overclocked to: 2.8ghz bus:280mhz so ht is 840 and memory is 187hz What's going on?! I even have more headroom to oc but temps are getting high. Something is fishy though. Any ideas?? upgraded 7800gt to an 8800gt. 3dmark06 score is 4002 windows...
