So.... I bought a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro from Newegg.com that was a referb. I get it and it won't run DirectX 9 stuff... So I contact both NewEgg and Sapphire. NewEgg issues me an RMA, and while talking to Sapphire they say a new BIOS might fix it. So I contact NewEgg and they say they can...
OOOO this is too easy....
Netware/NDS for File & Print servers and Network Authentication.
Win2000 Advance Server for Application server (Exchange, etc...)
Solaris for Web/Database server
Win2000 Pro for desktop.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! That's a perfect world right there!!
If you are just using the T1 for internet access (including basic web & e-mail servers at your site), you might want to even consider SDSL. You can get speeds that rival a standard T1 if you are close enough to a properly wired CO, and generaly at a LOT LESS cost!
Just a though.....
Yea.. Cisco or Juniper HAHAHA
But, for home use it depends on your budget. Cisco makes a PIX 501 that is a true firewall, with a 4 port switch. If you have $500 to spend, than I'd say use that. If not, check out ZyXel... great customer service (unlike Linksys), and high quality products.
