Matter of fact I had 8.1 at first, that didn't work. So i managed to get directx off my system all together and pu 8.0 back on, still no go.. I used dxbuster

tried safe mode, haven't changed settings ebcause i am unable to get into the game :) checked any support things in helpfiles but its always the same ol mundane stuff . "make sure you have latest drivers, get newest directx, etc" I'm running win98 also
