I am using a Duron 800 with a7v133. When I tried to upgrade from bios 1005 to 1007 the core voltage got very unstable and I switched back. Has anyone else noticed this?

My a7v133 had this problem. While running only one drive on the channel, I took off the Master/Slave jumper. The drive was then recognized.

Has anybody ever checked the voltages using an accurate volt meter to see if what the BIOS shows are the true voltages i.e vcore, 12v, 5v, 3.3v

Jorrit, Thanks for the confirmation of someone else having the same problem. I was running vio at the default of 3.53v but now set it to 3.3 and have not noticed any loss of stability. I would rather run voltages no higher than needed.

Try going into bios and seeing the your video bios is set to AGP or PCI and set it to the type card you are using.
