    I would put one on each server so that the UPS can automatically shut down the servers during power outages. I don't see why you would want to put UPSs on your hubs since no one will be using your network during a power outage.

    Not so nice...because that price is really for ONLY the CD, not the license. Also, that price is only available to campus departments. The best price you'll get is probably the academic discount.
