Thanks for the quick response Its a 300w powersupply (it may not be amd approved), it came with my Asus Elan Vital case. I have hte loud Global Win FOP-38 HSF. Um, ram is amd approved, micron brand cas3 2x256.. It doesn't really ever lockup, just runs really slow in comparison to my celery...

I've been having major problems with my new setup and think i have narrowed it down to either CPU or mobo. I currently have an MSI Turbo Raid, duron 850 (not oc/ed), 512mb pc133 micron cas3, matrox g400, philips acoustic edge (ugh, many problems with it too), pioneer 16x slotin, plextor...

That would make total sense, except for the fact that philips support is horrible. I can't even find where my sound card is even listed on their products page. Unless I'm totally incompetent, I just can't find it. I just don't understand why its not performing like all the reviews say it...

I just purchased one along with a pioneer 16x slot in dvd player. I'm having some problems with playing winamp along with copying stuff over or installing stuff from the dvd drive. Even copying stuff from harddrive to harddrive produces the same scratchy sounding effect. My old sound blaster...
