I recently purchased the asus p5n32-sli Deluxe nf4sli 775 mobo and was suprised when I saw the 8 holed 12 volt connector on the mobo instead of the original 4 holed 12 volt connector that I have been used to in the past.
I also recently purchased an antec tp 2-550 sli power supply and when...
Argh! I just purchased one of those mobos and was perplexed when I pulled out my antec tp2 550 and saw only one 4 pronged 12 volt power supply connector.
Is there any known converter from the 4 pronged to the 8 pronged connector or am I SOL with this power supply? I take it there is no...
Mech and Nippy,
Thank you guys very much for your help on this matter. The drivers finally worked for me.
Whew now I don't have to deal with too much more wife aggro.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Building the computer can be fun and trying.
I did actually run those and had the files extracted to my computer files. I have already attempted the download of the win xp part to the floppy and used it on the new system to no avail.
Thank you MechBgon for that idea. I made sure the floppy drive was working and now I've gotten to the line that reads : \Winxp\iteraid.sys error 18 at line 2108 in d:\spsp1\base\boot\setup\disk c or something similar.
This is at least a step in the right direction. When I set up my asus...

I downloaded those drivers, but for some reason am unable to completely copy them onto my floppy disk.
I guess this will turn out to be another hair pulling situation. If anyone knows how to help me plz do.

This is not posting to the correct location for some reason.
I'm looking for the website associated with the Gigabyte k8nspro.
I tried looking for www.gigabyte.com and found that "this site is coming soon."
My current problem is making me feel like I hate building comps again. I'm trying to...
For some reason the drivers I do happen to download onto a floppy are not the correct ones for the raid setup.
I need assistance in finding the correct drivers since following instructions verbatim from the manual they supplied has not worked.
I figured some smart person here would know the...
