why dont you use a program like maxmem or rambooster..? yesterday i noticed some slack and ran maxmem.. found out i had only 2(!) megs free.. one aggressive scrub.. 91 megs free... :)

98lite screwed up my 98se system big time.. i used to like it.. but since the last two installations.. uggh..! left my system unusable.. ie would crash.. notpad,wordpad, wouldn't run.... wierd... dunno why..
If you wanna install 98lite.. why not go with win95..?

hmm... ok... so i installed Redhat 7 on my machine... The installation was surprisingly smooth using only the 2 floppies to download and install redhat... quite amazing..
All hardware was auto-detected and worked right off-the-bat....
