I'm thinking about this deal too, and just to make it clear, the end price for the 41G2 is $209 shipped, and the 41G2B is $212 shipped...the prices he lists are PRE instant rebate... I'm just concerned about the whole sound chip/static issues that I keep hearing about on the nForce2 boards...

just put the new XP1700+ on without doing anything else, during bootup, it was detected as Athlon 1100Hz (100x1.1) and everything worked lika a charm! will update BIOS tonight. Heard after that the CPU would be recognized as MP.

I want some definite answers, sorry if it was asked before :) Are XP processors able to run on this KT7a-RAID v1.0 board? According to Abit the answer is no, but I saw in another forum someone got it working. Any info is greatly appreciated :)
