i've heard that the old tbird 1.4's run hotter than the xps. is there any truth in that? if thats the case then my current hs/f should be able to take what an xp would dish out, i think.

i'm currently running a pre-xp 1.4 amd tbird and am thinking about upgrading to a 2800+ xp i'd like to save some money by buying oem rather than retail, and i'm wondering if i could just reuse my current hs/f? (it came with my retail 1.4 when i bought it) thanks.
