@quaffapint I'd try resetting the BIOS, maybe upgrade. Try completely clearing the CMOS (remove power plug, battery from motherboard, and leave the jumpers crossed for 15 minutes). Try posting with no peripherals attached; try even removing the PCIX card, and then remove the Ram down to 1...

@digitalether I have an HR-05 sitting happily on my NB, with a scythe ninja blowing sideways though it as well as through my CPU HS - This seems to work well. I don't know how large the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 is, but I don't imagine it being any larger than the scythe. You should be fine.

I ran in at 4Gb and was fine, but it just threw errors in memtest... I'm thinking of upgrading my board, since it's about the only thing limiting me atm...

Hey guys, I've got memtest spitting errors at me... What does it mean? Is my RAM knackered? Or could something else be it?

I'm on BIOS 0801 running an E6600 at 3GHz quite happily. that's 333Mhz x 9 Multiplier. I haven't even tried to get above that, as it isn't stable (obviously the BIOS rev.) What are the advantages of the BIOSs above 401? Can it run all my system and at what level do you guys think I could get...

No worries for the english. I'd try resetting the BIOS to see whether that's the prob. pull out the power cord for your computer, then pull out the battery on the motherboard (making sure to ground yourself as to not short the board (see the user guide)). Then cross the jumpers for the CMOS...

Thanks. By the looks of it, Asus provides them, But I'll search around for confirmation. Currently thinking that I might dual boot XP x64 and Vista Ultimate x64 (yeah, I know to install vista first). But I'm also looking at an upgrade at the moment and putting this other machine to server use...

Does this board have all the drivers for XP x64? I'm too lazy to work my way through them all...
