The analog mode is imo better then digital mode. Sure the DVI is a little sharper but its too bright and the colors cant be adjusted. Its a great monitor and i have little complaints and would definately reccomend this monitor to n e 1.

As far as im aware the planar uses the same panel as the hitachi CML174 so its really down to cosmetics. Ive had my CM174B for a couple of weeks and im very happy with it. A word of advice though, both anandtech and Tomshardware stated this TFT is actually better in Analog mode. And tbh they...
