Hello there,
All of a sudden my ZyWall 2WG is blocking MSN, it havent done so before and didn't do this last night, and I swear I haven't touched anything.
The firewall is blocking with the following description:
Unsupported/out*-of-order ICMP: ICMP(Fragmentat*ion Needed and DF was Set)
Source: My modem in front of the ZyWall
Destination: My local IP
It WILL work if i disable Firewall.
I have two static/global IP adresses, and nothing has changed on the modem, firewall or miranda (my msn).
I have tried and update both Miranda and the ZyWall to the newest version with no luck, I've resetted all my equipment and rebooted the PC ofcourse. I Can't think of anything more to try, google and other forum's aint really helping me so far, so im trying here.
Anyone know what that description even mean and how I fix this without disabling my firewall entirely?
EDIT: A Friend of mine with a ZyWall 5 is also having the exact same problem, this leads us to believe that it is the MSN/Passport dev. team who have been playing around with maybe the network code or something, we just don't know..
EDIT2: This problem just appeared out of nowhere November 23
